Far Cry 3 - Wingsuit jump from south island to north - Is it possible? (2013x109)

In this one I decided to see if you could in fact wingsuit jump from the South island to the North. I chose south to north because the south has the highest point in the whole game. But so far I have failed in every attempt to get to the north island with the wingsuit, if it IS actually possible then let me know what I need to do but right now I can't do it
