Bill Clinton, Nicole Scherzinger and members of the Kennedy family reveal how JFK's sister Eunice, inspired by a tragedy in her own family, began Special Olympics more than 50 years ago. Clare Balding tells how Eunice defied her own father and overcame ignorance and prejudice to begin a movement which swept the world. Featuring stories of Special Olympians from across the globe over the last five decades this documentary shows the power of sport, the triumph of determination over discrimination and the persistence of one woman - in a man's world - to make a difference.
