Losing his mother has put a newborn colt named Brûlée at risk, and Dr. Chris is called in to find a creative solution to help. At the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH), Dr. Lisa Chimes acts fast to treat a beloved dog before it's too late. Later, Dr. Chris meets some Tasmanian devils and discusses the efforts to save this endangered species.
