Active couple Jay and Samantha recently welcomed their first child and realized the home and neighborhood they were living in didn't afford them the outdoor lifestyle they desired. They've decided to look for a log cabin near Lake Lure, North Carolina, with plenty of space for their growing family. Jay wants a cabin that's convenient for swimming, kayaking and other waterfront activities, while Samantha wants a big, open floor plan and a porch for entertaining. But it will be a challenge to find everything on their wish list in a cabin that's both close to Lake Lure and within their budget.
