Adaptation of the stage play by Susan Cooper and Hume Cronyn. The story of Annie Nations, a 79-year-old widow who lives in an isolated Appalachian Mountain cabin. Her son Dillard wants Annie to move near him in Florida and a land developer wants to buy her farm to build vacation homes.
