With about 1.7 million inhabitants, Ulaanbaatar is perhaps the little brother in Reizen Waes: world cities, but the city deserves a place in Tom's list for various reasons. Not only do more than half of the Mongolian population live in the capital Ulaanbaatar, the number of new residents is also increasing. It makes Ulaanbaatar a real metropolis in the most sparsely populated country in the world. Los Angeles, or L.A. for short, is the second largest city in the United States and the American attraction for dreamers of all kinds. A city where everything is possible and everything should be possible. In neighborhoods like Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach or Downtown L.A. you can meet the strangest characters and have adventures. But the American Dream also has its downside. Tom discovers this in poorer neighborhoods like Compton, where you will not encounter a white tourist.
