Actor Simon Ferguson is determined to look at the bright side of life, no matter what his fate. Fired off a soap opera and deemed unemployable by his agent, Simon relishes the opportunity for some time off and heads off to visit his favorite ex-wife, Kate. While she invites him to stay the weekend, Kate's wary that Simon hasn't matured a bit since their wild but tumultuous parting 20 years earlier.
