Candela is determined to clear up the drug trafficking case that Díaz had confessed to her at the end of the previous season. But Díaz is unwilling to cooperate. He fears reprisals from Samir's people. His worst fears are confirmed: someone sends a hit man to kill him. The conflict over the custody of the girls is complicated. Dácil, the youngest of the sisters, has disappeared. Gaspar, the father is convinced that it is the responsibility of his ex, Lucia. Cruz, the new Civil Guard sergeant, takes over the search operation. Meanwhile, Díaz travels to Tenerife in search of answers to the question of who wanted to kill him. His encounter with Fadi, Samir's haunting son, now in charge of the organization, only complicates matters.
