Northwest Territories is hit by the worst ice storm in years. Chief Pilot AJ Decoste flys a Electra newly bought from England to deliver goods up the Mackenzie Valley before the storm arrives. A new rampie from Ottawa is having a tough time to fit in with other rampies in Hay River. Watermain broke and froze the pipes at a Buffalo pilot's home, forcing the family members to stay in Mikey's house for a few days.
