Pandu accidentally kills a Sage, while hunting. As penance, Pandu decides to spend his life in exile and entrusts his kingdom to Dhritarashtra. In time, five children – Yudhisthir, Bheem, Arjun, Nakul and Sahadev – are born to Kunti and Madri.
