Investigators follow a trail that leads to a shocking motive for murder, and ends with a courtroom decision that surprises both defense and prosecution. And in Birmingham Alabama, a man is murdered in front of several witnesses, but for both police and prosecutor the simple case of cold-blooded murder becomes a cat and mouse game between the killer and justice.
