Parvati prepares modaks for Ganesha. Meanwhile, Ganesha becomes curious to know about Mahadev's renouncement. Mahadev enlightens him about spirituality. Due to Baamdev's curse, Gandharvaraj gets transformed into a rat. Brihaspati berates Baamdev for the same. The deities search for a solution to liberate Gandharvaraj from the curse, but in vain. Brihaspati asks him to proceed to Kailash. Ganesha enjoys distributing the modaks to the rats. Mahadev expects Kartikey's visit to Kailash.
