Tired of the internal squabbles and the way things are run at the Abandoned ranch, Luis Fernando decides to take up arms to prove he's on the same level as them. Upon learning of Pedro's precarious working conditions at Abandoned, Luis Fernando offers him a job on his own ranch. He reaffirms his authority over Genaro by forbidding him from entering his land. Genaro sees this as an opportunity to start a dispute with him. Doménica gets involved after discovering how Luis Fernando is handling the territorial conflicts, having been misled by Genaro's exaggerated accusations, which cloud her judgment with falsehoods.
