Bill discovers Jennifer’s engagement ring, exposing her plans with Frankie. Though she insists they won’t back down, she fears Bill will interfere. Frankie suggests they move into a refurbished fishing shack before Bill can stop them, promising they’ll still wait until marriage. Jennifer agrees and wears her ring openly again.
Kim vanishes after a mysterious call. Shane panics as the search begins. Nick admits he hid Kim in a condemned building, far beyond what Eve intended. Though Eve hesitates, Shane and Abe eventually find and rescue Kim. Eve plants Kim’s scarf to seem helpful and pretends relief, while Kim remains determined to identify her attacker, unaware of Eve’s role.
A plane crash floods the hospital with casualties. Bill is harsh during Janice’s first surgery, shaking her confidence. Mike encourages her, and Bill apologizes, forming a tentative friendship. Bill vents to Mike about Jennifer’s secret engagement, and Mike notes both are stubborn.
