Bill returns to Salem for a surprise party, but Jennifer spends her birthday in her dorm with Frankie, where they become intimate. Bill arrives and finds them together.
Jack proposes to Kayla using his mother’s ring, but Jo claims it’s lost to protect Steve’s secret. Kayla imagines Steve confessing love, but it’s only a fantasy. Jack buys a new ring with Melissa’s help, and Kayla prepares to give him her answer.
Shane, Roman, Steve, and Abe expose Ed Daniels as a criminal. Daniels later tests Steve’s loyalty by ordering him to kill Shane.
Kim comes home from the hospital with Shane. Eve has been helping care for Andrew, and Shane suggests she stay on. Kim agrees but wants to meet Eve’s parents.
