Roman wakes from a nightmare about Marlena at the Fish Market, clutching their wedding photo. Carrie comforts him, and they agree to plan a memorial service. Shawn tries to keep them busy, while Frankie supports Carrie.
Bo and Hope learn Marlena died in the explosion. At the Fish Market, Bo lashes out, blaming Roman for letting Marlena out of his sight. Roman overhears and is shattered. Hope later finds Bo on the pier; he admits Marlena was the only bridge between him and Roman.
Abe brings Roman Marlena’s recovered wedding ring, making the loss feel final. Roman vows to find Orpheus and kill him.
Frankie takes Carrie to the fishing shack and draws her with Marlena, reminding her Marlena’s wisdom will stay with her.
Bo returns to Roman; they share grief, apologise, and acknowledge nothing will ever be the same. Roman is left alone on the pier, devastated.
