Roman can't help but smile at Marlena's impatience as he's opening the door and
inside she slowly walks around, touching and looking at all their things, the
wine goblets and wedding photo. She turns to Roman to find him standing
holding her wedding ring. He slips it back on her finger and welcomes her
home. Tearfully Marlena tells him now she really feels like she's home. Roman
hugs her and tells her nobody is ever going to take her from him again.
Carrie bursts in calling Marlena's name and rushes to Marlena who picks her up
and hugs her, quite overcome. Carrie tells her she was so scarred for Marlena
and Marlena knows and is sorry but says she's back now. Marlena is glad Carrie
took such good care of Roman while she was gone and Roman says he couldn't have
made it through without Carrie. Marlena suddenly looks at Carrie again and
realises she's grown and is no longer a little girl. Carrie says she's not but
she hugs Marlena again saying she still needs her.
