Steve and Kayla try to move toward honesty, but he insists they’re too different and they clash again. Shane discovers Gillian has been spying on him and forces her to admit the ISA has held Marlena from the start; furious, he heads to Stockholm. Roman hears Marlena’s voice during a ransom call and agrees to a pier exchange despite not having the bonds. Bo warns Roman Orpheus has the bonds and wants Roman. Kim and Neil discuss Liz’s absence while Kim grows closer to Paul. At the pier, Roman, Steve, Hope and Bo prepare for the exchange. A woman appears through the fog, but Orpheus reveals he has the bonds; chaos erupts, her wig falls off, and she’s revealed as Gillian. Shane arrives just as Orpheus fires.
