An early 71-74 produced prototype that stood the test of time in more ways than one. This rare and expensive gem of shelf stable food history is finally getting documented and shared - using an absolutely fascinating older design on retort pouch technology. It was so ahead of it's time - and for one to last out this long in such fantastic condition is one to remember.
*Correction - the retort pouch won the Food Technology Industrial Achievement Award in 1978 not Nobel in 75.
