JD Doptis is a Pittsburgh native that recently rediscovered his love for skating a few years ago. Both himself & family come from an artistic skating background that shaped his love for the sport. Since returning to skating JD has immersed himself in the culture by attending events, becoming a RSA Certified Skate Instructor & playing a major role in the planning of one of the year's biggest annual events, Steel City Shuffle Skate. JD and I talk about everything skating... especially our passion for it!
