Vanessa and Omar have a private encounter, and just as they're kissing, Clemente arrives and knocks on the door. Bernardita enters the Walker company office and sees Mariana leaving Luis Emilio's office, a situation she doesn't like at all. Just then, Ignacia discovers her parents arguing, and they lie to her with a fabricated story. Afterward, Ignacia calls Karina to ask her to sell her one of her paintings, as she wants to give it to her mother. The young woman tells her that the painting she wanted is no longer available and invites her home to look at what she has available. Omar opens the door for Clemente, and he is surprised to see him there. They quickly make up a story about work, but he isn't convinced. Diana manages to talk to Cecilia, the woman who knew her mother. After insisting, she gets her to tell her that her mother had gotten together with Clemente just before she was found dead.
