Bastián never returned to the company, and Jessica worried deeply about him. The Walkers knew that when he was in trouble, he sought solace in alcohol, but his long delay in returning worried Bernardita greatly. Jessica's call to Ignacia raised alarm bells even more, and they began actively searching for him. Bastián had been at a bar getting drunk and had provoked jealousy in a group of thugs who beat him up on the way out. If it weren't for Clemente's help, the young man could have ended up much worse. The good connection Clemente and Diana had had hasn't been indifferent to their respective partners. Vanessa hated to learn that the therapist was officially hired, and Ramiro was upset with Walker for paying the fine at the police station. At night, outside of work hours, Diana received a call from Vanessa, in which her boss's girlfriend made it very clear where she stood on the scale.
