Luis Emilio got the hotel reservation and, once in his room, began looking at Mariana's photos. Bernardita caught him and demanded an explanation for his lack of discretion. This isn't the first time her husband has had affairs with other women, and although he's chosen to look the other way, that doesn't mean he doesn't notice. Luis Emilio assured her that an affair outside of marriage doesn't mean he's going to leave her. Bernardita should be grateful for everything he's given her and not bother him with what he does or doesn't do. Vanessa grew jealous of the closeness between Clemente and Diana, and had a heated argument with her partner. Things got worse when she learned he was hesitant to accept the executive position at the Walker Group at the therapist's suggestion. Frustrated that he'd let such an important opportunity pass him by, Vanessa pointed out that Diana's job was to free him from the "burden" of caring for Olivia, but that term annoyed Luis Emilio's eldest son.
