So-young lays her heart at Tae-hyeon’s feet over a drink. But she becomes resentful of Seo-gyeong when Tae-hyeon declares that he never had special feelings for her and he never will. So-young calls Tae-hyeon late at night and doesn’ t say anything. Seo-gyeong grabs the phone from Tae-hyeon and realizes that it is So-young on the phone. Gyeong-sun gives a day-off to Se-yeong, who never goes out, being busy with all the household chores. While walking along the cobblestone road, she reminisces about her dates with Geon-wu. She goes to see Geon-wu at the hospital to have dinner with him. Seo-gyong sees Se-yeong visiting Geon-wu and is thrown into an emotional turmoil. So-young looks through the text messages saved in Seo-gyeong’s cell phone and becomes sure that Geon-wu is Seo-gyeong’s lover. Meanwhile, Tae-hee warns Tae-hyeon that So-young is acting strange and tells him about the cottage in Yangpyeong.
