Has a video been demonetized, removed from recommended, or buried by search? These codes will tell you why. When Youtube's automated demonetization bot determines that an upload features non-advertiser friendly content, secret codes are attached to the video's metadata. Some of these numbers have now been decoded. Additionally, there is now statistical evidence that these demonetized videos are being suppressed within Youtube's search and discovery algorithms.
