Cristina asks José Emilio to take responsibility and marry Rebeca, but he rejects the idea. Rebeca reacts and apologizes to José Emilio for everything that has happened, because she loves him from the first moment she saw him. The doctor performs an ultrasound on Rebeca so that she and José Emilio can listen to the baby's heartbeat. Mónica suggests to Rebeca that she bribe the doctor to say that her health is in danger and thus tie up José Emilio.
