One night when Adi is almost about to resign for the day, Malini hurries to his house. On asking her why she has come to his house so late instead of doing her duty and being present at the Maharashtra Mazdoor Ekta Sangathan, Malini blurts out that Babu Bhai aka Jallaludin Mollah is back. Babu Bhai was accused and guilty of smuggling 100 kg of RDX from Bangladesh to India, running away from the custody of Lucknow Police.
