Debraj Mukherjee was a Professor of English Literature at Hansraj college. He was loved by everyone, people adored him. The entire college respected him. But on his 48th birthday, he collapsed and died just 5 minutes after eating his birthday cake at his birthday party. Malini explains to Adi that Prof Debraj was accused of sexually exploiting a student, Seema, 10 years back. The same student had committed suicide and her family had charged him for that.
