Mrs. Mitchell, wife of U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell, takes pot-shots at the Democrats and chats with Ernestine the telephone operator (Lily Tomlin). Raquel plays a wallflower, a waitress at a top secret meeting and a girl in an army recruitment commercial. Gladys Ormphby (Ruth Buzzi) sings "How Can I Be More Like You,Miss Welch?" Sketches include Martha Mitchell's mystery phone calls, Raquel and Ruth duet, Henny challenges Bob, Gladys' dream, Ernestine calls the White House, Return of the Swizzlers, Honeymoon runners, and the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Award.
