As Mephisto arrives in the human world, Hibiki and the others try to figure out what Muse's motives are whilst Ako helps a kitten stuck in a tree. Mephisto makes his move, creating a large Negatone in the middle of the city. As the Pretty Cure struggle against it, Muse arrives to protect them. As Mephisto starts to attack Muse, the Pretty Cure resolve to protect her. However, as they launch their attack at Mephisto, Muse protects him, inadvertently allowing him to steal all the Notes from the Fairy Tones and escape.
