When an elderly woman, named Irma Swanson, who knew and befriended Swamp Thing, dies, her estranged daughter, Cathy, comes to town for her funeral. Swamp Thing and the spirit of Irma then show Cathy the past of Irma’s troubled life in order for Cathy to make amends meet.
