The private investigator and antiquarian Georg Wilsberg from Münster receives an order from an insurance company to monitor a garage near the harbor. Losses of damage have been reported there suspiciously recently. Wilsberg should take a close look at the owner and find out whether he or she stages the damage itself. Wilsberg is rather displeased with the work, because a case of insurance fraud does not promise great wealth. But hardly concerned with the new case, Wilsberg stumbles across the body of an architect. This had designed the expansion of the creative quay at the port on behalf of a Münster real estate company. Before the police show up, however, the body is removed. Nobody believes Wilsberg, least of all Anna Springer, his "girlfriend" from the Münster homicide commission. No murder without a body!
