J.R questions Harve Smithfield about whether outsiders can legally own Ewing Oil. Dusty secretly visits Sue Ellen at the sanitarium. Pam thinks she's being followed. Sue Ellen achieves a small victory in her fight against alcoholism. Cliff probes Jack Ewing's family loyalties. Pam has a surprise visitor from the past.
