Since the withdrawal of the manager, Kumako Kumoike, Y Lab has been forced to abandon the club by the Discinplinary Committee. Haruki Hirono, who was a member of the Y Lab, joined The Special Effects Hero Club lead by Mataro. The hero they both like is the same, and the two hit it off immediately. Mataro then suggests creating a transformation watch that can allow even for students like himself who don't meet YSP standards to become a hero, but Haruki stubbornly refuses. Kuka comes there and says that she can make a watch that can transform into the "Shining Boy" that Mataro longs for.
