Commissioner Anna Springer is in trouble. Not only is a new employee, Carola Sonntag, put to her side - a young policewoman also dies in a mysterious car accident. And just before she wanted to meet Anna. Apparently she wanted to inform her about irregularities in her police department. However, Anna does not believe the accident theory for a second and asks Georg Wilsberg, of all people, for help, who otherwise makes her life difficult with his idiosyncratic methods. Because of her suspicion that the new colleague Carola is interfering with the investigation, Anna believes the perpetrator may have come from police circles. Wilsberg is not very enthusiastic, but for Anna's sake he does her the favor.
