A month has passed since the Yubel incident. Life at the Academy has started anew, but Jaden has stayed secluded in the Red dorms, not taking a step out. In the midst of things, something suddenly goes wrong with the Duel System. Cards that don't respond to Solid Vision start popping up. Chazz, Alexis and Fujiwara have examined the computer rooms in order to get to the bottom of all this. Meanwhile, Jaden has received a cell phone from an unknown sender and is told about some enigmatic information.
