Rocco is forced to return to Rome to confront his dark past—a task that becomes increasingly difficult, since someone has been informing the chief of police of his every move for some time. There’s a mole in the precinct. For the first time, Schiavone can’t trust anyone except Caterina and young Gabriele.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner of Spinaceto, who is investigating the Castel di Decima murder, discovers a connection between the victim and the Honduran embassy.
