Li Bi arrives at He Zhizheng’s mansion to find it eerily quiet. Unbeknown to Li Bi, all the servants at the mansion have died in mysterious circumstances in the firewood shed. With no news from Li Bi after an extended wait, Tan Qi makes a daring attempt to lie her way into the Yourao Regiment to rescue Zhang Xiaojing. Zhang Xiaojing devises a plan to burn down the barracks of the Yourao Regiment to create an opportunity for the three of them to escape. They run into Cui Qi as they head to the exit, and are surrounded.
