It’s a transgender woman of unknown identity, strangled. For this new investigation, Rocco must deal with Michela Gambino, a forensic police inspector who not only harbors a wide range of conspiracy theories but has also taken over the deputy commissioner’s office.
Meanwhile in Rome, Sebastiano seems to have lost his senses: he physically threatens Enzo Baiocchi’s daughter in a desperate attempt to find him. To escape, Baiocchi seeks shelter and new documents from Juan Gonzalez Barrio, a South American criminal he’s worked with in the past, leaving a trail of blood behind him.
