Later, Alan catches up with two of the canines rescued by her - Snowy, a Jack Russell cross, and Lady, a terrier cross, the last and wildest dog who Vickie encountered on that mission. There is also advice on how to go about adopting a dog from a rehoming centre, with the aid of prospective owner Claire.
