Joining her boyfriend Eric (Paulo Angeles) on his internship in Taipei City, Ivi (Barbie Imperial) meets her grumpy neighbor Wei-Ting (Stephen Rong) and accidentally comes into possession of a mystical book that matches people who are destined to be together forever.

Ivi (Barbie Imperial) receives her first assignment from the Marriage Book and seeks Wei-Ting’s (Stephen Rong) help in reading the names written in it. As she tries to bring together her friend Tammy (Jai Agpangan) and Steven (Charles Wu), a tourist from their walking tour, a case of mistaken identity threatens to derail her plans.

Eric (Paulo Angeles) becomes increasingly jealous as Ivi (Barbie Imperial) pressures Wei-Ting (Stephen Rong) into helping with her second matchmaking assignment, so he investigates Wei-Ting’s background and unwittingly brings a painful family secret to light. Ivi and Eric’s relationship then arrives at a heartbreaking crossroad.

Heartbroken over the latest revelations in the Marriage Book, Ivi (Barbie Imperial) takes up Wei-Ting’s (Stephen Rong) invitation to join him and his mother on a trip to Shifen. As Eric (Paulo Angeles) meets Wei-Ting’s father and things start to develop between Ivi and Wei-Ting, Ivi uncovers a devastating lie.

Ivi (Barbie Imperial) and Eric (Paulo Angeles) try to reunite Wei-Ting’s parents while Wei-Ting (Stephen Rong) does everything to thwart their plans. The Matchmaking God Yue Lao (Ed Ngo) returns to make Ivi a tempting offer.

As Ivi (Barbie Imperial) pushes Tammy (Jai Agpangan) to repair her fractured relationship with Bentong (Igi Boy Flores), Eric (Paulo Angeles) and Wei-Ting’s (Stephen Rong) efforts to woo her go into overdrive. The deadline for the third match arrives, and Ivi is forced to contemplate her life decisions as she makes an important decision.
