Gunnar Merger is a German TV presenter, journalist and writer. He is known for the "Blaateen", a TV programme for teenagers on BR-alpha, that he co-hosted together with Caro Matzko before both changed to Xenius on Arte in 2008. Since 2013 Merger is a presenter of the docu-series "Faszination Wissen" on the "Bayerische Rundfunk" and script writer for several scientifical TV shows , e.g. "Planet Wissen".
