The college is going to open a new theater. Wyleen gets the lead in the play ""The Tea Ceremony""; however, there is a protest about her playing a role that would be better for an Asian. Joy arranges a date for Tasha and also tries to fix her hair. The date turns out to be Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Jack searches for an editor for his new book. Leonard reluctantly agrees to the task but becomes a replacement for Joy.
