Mahadev tells Ravana that he sees ego in his devotion. He enlightens Ravana about being a true devotee. Ravana misunderstands Mahadev's intention. On Mahadev's request, he releases the men from his captivity. He requests Mahadev not to interfere in the matters of his kingdom. Parvati wants Kartikey to get married before Ganesha. She tries to convince Kartikey to attend Ganesha's marriage, but fails. Ganesha decides that he will get married, only if Kartikey attends his marriage.
