As the two couples, Marie and Kang-se, and Si-ra and Poong-ju, grow closer, they begin to feel increasingly at ease with one another. Their budding comfort and affection, however, deepen Mi-ryoung's anguish, pushing her into greater desperation. At the same time, Ki-sik stumbles upon a painful truth that shakes him to the core. Elsewhere, Ki-bun turns to Ok-soon for help, determined to drive a wedge between Si-ra and Poong-ju before their bond becomes unbreakable.
