Vivian struggles financially and considers marrying Victor for money. She lunches with Victor, who invites her on his yacht cruise but withdraws a financial offer, thinking she's doing well. Vivian discovers Nicholas has disappeared to the park, where he befriends Shawn-Douglas. Bo picks up Shawn-D and takes him to the Salem Inn, but Vivian's do-not-disturb blocks calls. Meanwhile in California, an unknown man proposes to Kimberly Brady with a diamond ring; she asks for time to think. Shane, unaware, thinks of her back in Salem. Caroline worries about overworked Shawn and calls Carly; Carly asks Bo to pick up Shawn-Douglas instead. Victor later tells Carly about his lunch with Vivian and hints he wants her help getting back on the hospital board, Carly refuses to assist.
