Jack writes a supportive editorial about Bo's unfair treatment. Jennifer plans a story on Hawk's troubled childhood, asking Vern for information. Hawk discovers her plan by reading her diary and fires his nurse (who was getting close to him) to keep her away from Jennifer. Ginger and Chauncey pursue a lead to Colorado while searching for Ginger's daughter, finding a clue through Professor Smiley about Professor Brinker. Meanwhile, Molly and Tanner watch Max and Stephanie at the fish market, revealing their different feelings about children.
