Steve hides in the Curtis mansion’s secret room when Anjelica arrives. Adrienne visits him, upset about her date with Justin, and they end up hiding together in the passageway. From there, they overhear Justin confronting Anjelica about staging a fake hospital emergency to manipulate Adrienne. Anjelica insults Adrienne, Justin defends her, and Steve bursts out to punch Justin. Jo steps in, urging Steve to let Adrienne make her own choices, and the two siblings reconcile. Kim plants a bug in Shane’s ISA room after he excludes her from a meeting. Shane discovers it, teases her, and they make love by the fireplace. Justin later realizes Anjelica faked the Harper emergency. Adrienne visits the stables and secretly watches Justin confess to Mercury that she’s the one person he truly cares about.
