Adrienne then finds their mother Jo brutally beaten and drags Steve to the hospital, where he emotionally reunites with her after years apart. In court, Kim testifies and, under pressure, declares her love for Shane. They share an emotional reunion and kiss afterward, but the jury returns with a verdict before they can leave. On the island, Orpheus reveals his revenge plan against Roman and threatens Marlena’s life if she disobeys. Forced into compliance, she realizes she must care for his children to survive. Carrie skips school, embarrassed she doesn’t have a bra; Olivia takes her shopping, and Roman later learns the truth, struggling with single parenthood. Justin pursues Melissa, but Hope warns him to back off.
