Victor offers help, but Shane shocks everyone by posting bail himself, strengthening their renewed bond. Steve, shut out by Roman, steals a badge and sneaks into the evidence room, pocketing evidence against Kim and barely dodging Abe. He reassures Kayla he’s handling things. At court, Shane stays by Kim’s side and brings her home. When she breaks down over her fear and isolation, he offers to stay; she declines, wanting normalcy. Their goodbye is emotional. Subplot: Glenn and Jennifer awkwardly split. Jennifer isn’t ready to date, while Frankie seeks Steve’s advice and prepares to ask her out. Coach Locke pushes Glenn to refocus on basketball.
